Your laboratory stays on your device
Particle Life has no user accounts, advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDKs. It does not request your camera, microphone, contacts or location. We do not operate a server that receives your simulations, predictions or notes.
Worlds, notes and local storage
Saved worlds contain particle states, rules, a save date and any predictions or observations you enter. They are stored in the app's local documents. The app does not upload them or provide developer-operated cloud sync. Your operating system may include app data in backups according to your Apple settings.
You can delete saved worlds in Notebook. Deleting the app removes its local data; offloading can preserve it. Copies you export or share are controlled by the destination you choose and are not deleted when you remove the original.
Optional tips
Tips are optional purchases handled by Apple's StoreKit. Apple processes the payment; we do not receive your payment-card details. The app verifies Apple's transaction information and stores acknowledged transaction identifiers locally to avoid recording a tip twice. The app does not send these identifiers to a developer-operated server.

Files and sharing
Import accesses the file you select. Export and Share a picture pass the file or image to the system destination you choose. Exported worlds can include your written notes and predictions. We do not receive shared items unless you choose to send them to us.
Support and retention
If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you send. We use it to respond and investigate issues. We keep support correspondence only while needed for support or resolving issues, unless retention is required by law. Contact us to request access to or deletion of information we hold about you.
Apple diagnostics and external links
Apple may collect and share diagnostics according to your device settings. If you use TestFlight, Apple's beta service also handles usage, crash reports and feedback under its own privacy notice.
Opening a support or privacy link uses your browser or mail app. Those services and the website host process connection information under their own policies. We do not attach your worlds or notes to these links.
