Your laboratory is local
LoopLab has no app accounts, advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDKs. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts or location. We do not operate a server that receives your experiments, preferences or purchase information from the app.
Experiments, names and preferences
The local notebook stores the names you give saved experiments, their save dates, cell states, model, rules version, boundary and generation. Your pace, grid and scientific-view preferences are also stored locally. Rewind uses a bounded memory buffer while you use the lab; saved experiments preserve their saved world state rather than a complete rewind history. The app does not upload this information or provide developer-operated cloud sync.
Apple purchases and restoration
LoopLab Pro is an optional permanent purchase handled by Apple’s StoreKit. Apple processes the payment; we do not receive your payment-card details. The app verifies Apple’s transaction information on the device to determine whether Pro is available. It does not send transaction identifiers or purchase history to a developer-operated server.
Buying Pro and choosing Restore Purchases use Apple’s services and may ask you to authenticate with your Apple Account. Apple manages purchase records and may provide sales reports to us under its own policies. See Apple’s privacy policy.
Pictures and sharing
Share a world image generates an image of the simulated world and its generation. It passes that image to the system destination you choose. The app does not read your photo library or use your camera to make this picture. We do not receive it unless you choose to send it to us. Copies you share are controlled by the selected destination.
Backups and deletion
Your operating system may include app data in device backups according to your Apple settings. Apple manages those backups. You can delete saved experiments individually in Notebook. Deleting the app removes its local data; offloading can preserve it. Backups and shared copies may remain after local deletion and are managed through their respective services.
If you contact support
If you choose to email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you send. We use them to respond and investigate issues. We keep support correspondence only while needed for support or resolving issues, unless retention is required by law. You can contact us to request access to or deletion of information we hold about you.
Apple diagnostics and external services
Apple may collect and share diagnostics according to your device settings. If you use TestFlight, Apple’s beta service also handles usage, crash reports and feedback under its own privacy notice.
Opening a support or privacy link uses your chosen browser or mail app. Those services process their own connection information. LoopLab does not attach notebook experiments or preferences to these links.
This website
These support pages are hosted by Cloudflare. When you visit, Cloudflare receives standard web-request information, including an IP address, to serve and protect the site. These pages do not include advertising or analytics scripts. Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its handling of service traffic.
