Privacy Policy

The short version: there are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. Your beats live on your device. The only thing that ever leaves it is the style you type when you ask the app to generate a beat for you.

What stays on your device

Your patterns, songs, mixer settings, and sound-design tweaks are stored only on your device. We have no access to them and no copy of them. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Audio (WAV) and video (MP4) exports are rendered on your device. Pattern files (.funbeats) and library packs (.funbeatspack) are created on your device too. Where any of these go afterwards is entirely your choice via the iOS share sheet — we never receive them.

Generate with AI

BeatGlow has one optional feature that uses the network: Generate with AI. When — and only when — you tap Generate, the short style description you typed (for example "laid-back boom bap") is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to a beat-generation service we operate on Cloudflare, which forwards it to Anthropic's Claude API. Claude returns a drum pattern, which the app loads for you to edit.

Specifics:

• The request contains only that style text. It carries no account, no name, no email, no device identifier, and none of your saved patterns.
• We do not store the text you send or the pattern that comes back.
• Anthropic processes the request as our service provider, under their API terms, and does not use it to train their models.
• Your IP address is visible to our service, as it is to any web server. We use it only to count requests per hour so one person can't exhaust the free feature for everyone. That count is discarded automatically after about an hour and is never used to identify you, profile you, or build a history.
• If you never use Generate with AI, BeatGlow makes no network connections at all.

What we never do

No accounts or sign-in. No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. No advertising, no ad identifiers, no tracking across apps or websites. No selling or sharing of personal information — we have none to sell. No third-party SDKs of any kind are embedded in the app.

Children's privacy

BeatGlow is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children. It has no accounts, no social features, no chat, and no user-to-user content.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal information about you, there is nothing for us to look up, correct, export, or delete on request. To remove everything BeatGlow has stored, delete the app from your device.

Changes

If a future version changes any of the above — for example an optional in-app purchase — this policy will be updated first, and the app's App Store privacy label will be updated to match.
